Internationally recognised for his work on EU development policy, common foreign and security policy and perceptions of the EU, Professor Holland is the author of over 100 articles and author\/editor of 24 books.<\/h2>\n

Professor Holland holds a Jean Monnet Chair ad personam and is the director of the\u00a0National Centre for Research on Europe<\/a>\u00a0(at the University of Canterbury) as well as of the European Union Centres Network, New Zealand. He has held a number of notable awards, such as the Rockerfeller Bellagio Fellowship and the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship.<\/h2>\n
